GDPR Information

Sir John Cass's Foundation and Red Coat Church of England Secondary School and Sixth Form College is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which took effect in May 2018.

Successful applications: This information will be added to the pupil’s file. The retention period is the duration of the student’s studies plus 2 years. Then the information will be securely destroyed. The file will not follow the student if he/she transfers to another 6th Form College. If a student does not turn up in September, then the application form is securely destroyed.

Unsuccessful applications: The retention period is 2 months, in case the student appeals against the College’s decision. Then the information will be securely destroyed.

The information will be used only internally and will not be passed on to other parties. The information submitted on the website will be automatically deleted after 1 year.
